For over 40 years, Michael London has invested in and built companies from start up to maturity to exit. In all cases, Mr. London has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. London was also a founding member of the Association of Venture Founders and was selected to be a member of the Tarrytown 100. Mr. London has been a frequent guest lecturer on Entrepreneurship at various universities, most notably for three years at Duke University and the MBA Entrepreneurship Conference at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. London has served on the Boards of Directors for industry associations including the International Franchise Association as well as numerous private companies. He received his B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of Pittsburgh. He is married with one son.
James Rodisch is an executive leader with decades of experience building growth companies. Mr. Rodisch has more than 40 years of business and academic experience. He has a long track record of success working with dynamic companies in technology, software, healthcare and education. He has served as CFO and Chief Operating Officer, as well as Director of finance or business development. He has worked with start-ups, early-stage firms and nonprofit organizations. During his career, Mr. Rodisch has helped raise or access more than $40 million in venture capital.
Prior to UVARA, Mr. Rodisch was Vice President of Finance and Administration at the Center of Sustainable Energy. Before that Mr. Rodisch was Assistant Dean, Academic Affairs, at DeVry University. Earlier in his career, he was President/COO for Abington Health Alliance Inc., a $5 million funded joint venture of the hospital and medical staff. His past experience also included executive positions at University of Phoenix, CompassLearning and Rady’s Children Hospital in San Diego.
Mr. Rodisch holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He also has a Master’s in Accounting from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Temple University.

Moufid Charafeddine is a technology entrepreneur having participated in creating and growing several U.S. and international technology companies with a variety of business models. He has built and integrated business applications in electricity and telco, addressing and geolocation, and designed GIS software, machine learning algorithms, and decision support systems. These innovative projects changed the business models for a variety of government entities and municipalities, internet verticals, utilities, health and education establishments, and financial institutions.
After 20 years of being an executive at companies building technology solutions based on esri, Oracle, Sun, Microsoft and open source, he utilizes his experience in leading the design and development of the new generation SaaS suite of products at BetterGIS, known as Uvara.
Mr. Charafeddine holds BE in civil engineering and BS in computer science from AUB.
Senior Vice President
With more than 35-years of civil engineering experience, Jim Grossi has designed, entitled and provided engineering consulting services on numerous projects in Northern California for public, educational, institutional, and private clients. Recent projects include the Civil Engineering Master Plan work at Solano CCD, as well as projects for UC Davis Medical Center, Clark Kerr Campus Renovation at UC Berkeley, UCSF Mission Bay, College of Marin, San Mateo CCD, Foothill-De Anza CCD, and Peralta CCD. He presently serves as the Senior Vice President of BetterGIS, Inc. which is a proprietary site utility mapping system. His expertise includes corporate management, project planning, entitlement and permit processing, regulatory approvals, financing, public presentations, engineering design, construction management, and political consulting.
Mr. Grossi has served as President of the Governing Board of the Lincoln Union School District since 1981, is Vice President of the Board of Directors of the North Marin Water District and Vice Chairman of the Marin County Zone 1 Flood Advisory Board. He has also served on many community youth organizations, Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development Boards.
Mr. Grossi was a Founding Director of the Bank of Petaluma in 1987 and served on the Board of Directors for 10 years. He also served on the Fourth District Agricultural Association Board of Directors (Sonoma-Marin Fair) for 14 years, six years of which he served as President.
During the 80’s and 90’s Mr. Grossi developed and built several commercial and residential projects in Solano County including three residential projects – totaling 228 residential units and a 104 acre commercial project, a portion of which was sold to Westamerica Bank for its headquarters.
Jim Grossi has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California Davis and he is a registered Civil Engineer in California. He enjoys hunting, fishing and the outdoors and is an avid horseman, but spends most of his extra time with his wife, two adult children and his five grandchildren on the family owned Marindale Ranch in West Marin County.
Business Development Manager
Jim Keller has more than 35 years of experience working in the architect/engineer/construction and real estate industries. His expertise includes management of engineering projects as well as GIS mapping and software sales. Jim has been involved with the development rollout of the UVARA program since its inception.
Jim attended San Jose State and St. Edwards University receiving his Bachelor degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Marketing. He is also a licensed real estate salesperson in California. His hobbies include home winemaking, golf, and travel.
Director of Professional Services
Scott Salas is an engineering design professional with 14-years of practice in computer aided design with 11 of those years being in the Civil Engineering field. His interests include computer science and computer programming; and he takes a lead role in such groups as the AutoCAD Standards Committee, which is responsible for standardizing engineering drawing layouts, drawing details, and other important drawing elements. Mr. Salas’ background includes website creation, creating tools to increase productivity in Civil Engineering plan production, leading seminars on AutoCAD Civil 3D® productivity, and a broad-spectrum of IT experience.
His passion for computers has now lead him to be the instrumental person in the development of the InSite program, in large measure due to his understanding of underground utility systems, civil engineering design, mapping, web design and AutoCAD. InSite, originally known as Landmark, was created to solve the inefficiencies of standard paper plans storage, and has grown in a dynamic web-based utility mapping and display program.
Mr. Salas holds an Associate’s degree in Computer Aided Design from ITT Technical Institute and is currently an Autodesk Civil 3D 2011 Certified Professional. He is a devoted husband and father. He enjoys hiking and backpacking, and considers his overnight backpacking trip through the Narrows in Utah’s Zion National Park one of his most amazing life adventures.
