According to MySA on June 5:

A police SUV was swallowed by a 15-feet deep sinkhole Friday morning near Denver following torrential storms that hit the area.

The Sheridan Police Department vehicle was occupied by Sgt. Greg Miller, who was on patrol around 2:15 a.m., but the officer managed to escape without injury, according to KUSA.

“Next thing I know, dirt — I’m assuming dust from the airbag — was floating around and everything,” Miller told the TV station. “I hear the rushing water, and all I see is a dirt wall in front of me.”

Miller was taken to the hospital as a precaution but was soon released. The vehicle, which ended up about 15 feet below the surface of the road, sustained significant damage and is likely a total loss.
