According to KEYT updated on August 20th:

A resurfacing project on South Harbor Blvd. in Oxnard hit a roadblock on Wednesday when the vibration of heavy equipment cracked a concrete water main.

It created a sinkhole that appeared larger than a car.

Public works officials notified nearby Mandalay Bay residents that the water would have to be turned off until repairs could be made.

Workers found another rupture while working to fix the first one.

Once the repairs are made crews will be able to finish their Harbor Boulevard improvement project.

Neighbors are being asked not to park along the street.
